How it works

	You deed all or a part of your property to the Zoological Society of San Diego.
	You receive an immediate income tax deduction.
	You avoid some or all capital gains taxes when the property is sold.

Benefits

You receive an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the real estate, if you have owned it for more than a year.
You pay no capital gains tax on the transfer.
You can direct the proceeds from your gift to a specific wildlife or conservation program.
